T5 Services Achieves Rapid Growth Amid Rising Data Center Demand
T5 Services, a division of T5 Data Centers, has experienced remarkable growth in 2025. The company’s expansion reflects a surge in demand for high-performance, fully integrated data center solutions. This trend is driven by the needs of hyperscale, cloud, and AI markets, which require reliable and scalable infrastructure.
Explosive Revenue Growth and Market Demand
From 2021 to 2025, T5 Services increased its revenue from $87 million to an impressive $1.6 billion. Most of this growth happened throughout 2025, making it one of the fastest scale-ups in the mission-critical services sector. The majority of this expansion has come from third-party developers, hyperscalers, and enterprise customers, not just T5-owned assets.
This highlights strong market demand for T5’s integrated delivery model, which combines construction, operations, and safety from the start. T5’s approach allows clients to manage risks proactively, speed up project completion, and avoid costly delays—especially important when performance and reliability are non-negotiable.
Building and Operating at Scale
T5 Construction has proven its ability to execute large projects efficiently. The team has delivered ground-up developments, campus builds, and complex retrofits across the country. Meanwhile, T5 Operations has scaled its management platform quickly, now overseeing 77 data centers across the U.S. and Europe.
Today, T5 supports over 4 gigawatts of capacity across more than 75 customer-owned sites. The company can perform upgrades, expansions, and retrofits without disrupting ongoing operations. This capability is increasingly important as AI, higher power densities, and faster deployment timelines continue to shape the industry.
The construction team alone has more than 200 professionals working alongside around 6,000 subcontractors and tradespeople. Together, they’ve added over 750 MW of data center capacity and built more than 2 million square feet of mission-critical space. T5 invests heavily in training, dedicating over 1,000 hours annually to ensure safety, accountability, and operational excellence.
Focus on Speed, Reliability, and Customer Support
As demand grows, T5’s focus on fast, disruption-free delivery becomes even more critical. The company’s integrated model means customers get a seamless experience, from building to operation. T5’s teams work in energized environments, often supporting third-party clients as an extension of their own teams.
Tom Mertz, COO and President of T5 Services, emphasizes that integration is now a must-have. “It’s not a differentiator anymore; it’s a requirement,” he says. “Our organization is built around that reality, enabling us to build, expand, and operate facilities in real time, without missing a beat.”
Overall, T5 Services’ rapid growth in 2025 underscores the increasing importance of reliable, scalable data center solutions. As the digital economy expands with AI and cloud computing, the company’s ability to deliver complex projects efficiently will keep it at the forefront of the industry.
