AI-driven supply chain platform Lyric has secured $43.5 million in Series B funding. The round was led by Insight Partners, with support from Primary Venture Partners, Permanent Capital Ventures, VMG Partners, PSP Growth and NewBuild Venture Capital.

The new capital comes on the heels of significant momentum for the Sunnyvale-based startup. Since emerging from stealth just 18 months ago, Lyric has grown revenue by 500% and now counts several Fortune 500 companies among its enterprise customers across a variety of sectors.

Rethinking how supply chain teams make decisions

As global supply chains face increasing volatility and complexity, traditional tools often fall short of the agility teams require. Gartner has highlighted the limitations of current analytics tools in supporting fast, insight-driven decisions due to technical barriers and data quality concerns.*

To tackle this gap, Lyric built Lyric Studio—a composable platform designed to give supply chain professionals greater control over decision intelligence. The platform integrates data seamlessly, features an extensive algorithm library, and includes a visual workflow builder with a built-in user experience layer. The goal: make sophisticated modeling and planning accessible to business users.

“We chose Lyric as our next-generation supply chain design platform after thorough assessment of multiple considerations. Within a brief period, we are already expanding our capabilities into many unique use cases with the speed and agility to meet our strategic objectives. Lyric’s algorithmic horsepower and talented technical team are exceptional.”

Natesh Rao, Supply Chain Leader at Mondelēz International

Product development and AI innovation in focus

With the fresh funding, Lyric plans to accelerate its product roadmap and grow its library of reusable supply chain logic. The company will also expand its AI capabilities in areas like simulation, experimentation, and automation.

Beyond technology, Lyric intends to invest in customer success, onboarding, and community-building as it scales its platform to serve global supply chain teams.

“This investment is more than a milestone; it is a signal. Supply chains today are too complex and volatile for static software. Leaders need platforms that adapt to them, not the other way around. We are proud to be building the next generation of supply chain infrastructure.”

Ganesh Ramakrishna, Co-Founder and CEO of Lyric

Looking ahead to Empower 2025

The company plans to showcase new features and share its vision for the future at its annual conference, Empower 2025, taking place in Chicago on August 13–14. The event will bring together industry leaders to explore what AI-first, composable supply chains can look like.

Inside Lyric’s approach to supply chain intelligence

Founded to give supply chain teams more control and flexibility, Lyric helps businesses design, test, and deploy high-performance decision models faster. Lyric Studio supports better planning and logistics, as well as frontier use cases that benefit from real-time adaptability.

The company is based in Sunnyvale, California, and led by co-founder and CEO Ganesh Ramakrishna. Its board includes Teddie Wardi, Managing Director at Insight Partners, who commented, “Lyric’s platform-first approach delivers the flexibility and intelligence companies have been seeking for years. We are excited to back the team as they scale globally.”
