Vybe, a startup focused on making AI-powered software development accessible to non-technical teams, has raised $10 million in seed funding. The round was led by First Round Capital, with participation from Y Combinator, Orange Collective, Pelion Ventures, and Pioneer Fund.

The investment also attracted a notable group of angel investors and operators from major tech companies, including Oli Pomel (CEO of Datadog), Ami Vora (Head of Product at Anthropic), Shishir Mehrotra (CEO of Grammarly), and Olivier Godement (Head of Product, API at OpenAI).

Why Internal Tools Keep Breaking

Most fast-growing companies rely on a patchwork of SaaS products, spreadsheets, and manual workarounds to run their internal operations. From admin consoles to onboarding workflows, performance reviews to content calendars, these makeshift systems tend to break easily and are difficult to update. Engineering teams, already stretched thin, rarely have time to build or maintain internal tools.

The rise of natural language interfaces for building software has opened new possibilities. But until now, these tools have been limited to prototypes, landing pages, or simple projects. They fall short when you need secure, data-connected applications that can handle real business processes.

Putting Business Teams in Control

Vybe is designed to let operations teams, product managers, HR professionals, and other non-technical builders create internal applications without writing code or waiting for engineering support. Users describe what they want in plain language, and Vybe generates production-ready software.

The platform connects to existing data sources like Postgres, Salesforce, Jira, Redshift, and MySQL. Authentication, user roles, and deployment infrastructure are built into the foundation. Importantly, the security layer is hardcoded into the platform itself. It cannot be modified by AI or generated through prompts.

“Our belief is that in the next decade, most internal software will be vibe-coded by teams working with AI: engineers and operators together,” the company stated in its announcement. “Vybe is built for that collaboration.”

Early Results From Beta Users

Over the past few months, Vybe operated in closed beta with more than 1,000 companies on its waitlist. The team hand-onboarded over a dozen organizations to test the platform on production-grade applications.

One CEO reported that running his entire customer success operation through Vybe saves him approximately two days per week. Another company ingested millions of rows from their data warehouse to build internal BI-style views. A third replaced their existing business intelligence tools entirely by connecting their Redshift data warehouse and prompting the system to generate dashboards showing metrics like MAU, DAU, and drop-off funnels.

Templates From Industry Operators

Vybe is launching with a library of remixable templates created in partnership with experienced operators. These include:

Lenny Rachitsky’s 3-Step Performance Review System provides a framework for turning performance reviews into structured conversations that combine data, narrative, and growth goals. Mathilde Collin’s 3-Tiered One-on-One Framework organizes manager check-ins into weekly, monthly, and bi-annual cadences. Additional templates cover social listening workflows, build-versus-buy decision frameworks, and centralized customer feedback systems.

The full template library includes more than 20 options at launch.

Meet the Founding Team

Vybe was founded by Quang Hoang and Fabien Devos. The company’s long-term vision extends beyond internal business tools. The founders aim to eventually make personal software development accessible to anyone who wants to build custom applications.

Strong Backing From Operators and Founders

Beyond the institutional investors, the seed round drew participation from an extensive roster of technology executives and founders.

Notable angels include Mathilde Collin (former CEO of Front), Surabhi Gupta (CTO of Klaviyo), Stephen Deasy (CTO of Confluent), Jean-Denis Greze (CEO of Town, formerly CTO at Plaid), Tido Carriero (CEO of Koala, formerly CPO at Segment), Brian Balfour (Founder of Reforge), Dave King (Chief Business Officer at HeyGen), Tien Tzuo (CEO of Zuora), Andrew Miklas (General Partner at Y Combinator, formerly CTO of PagerDuty), Nicolas Dessaigne (General Partner at Y Combinator), Kevin Hartz (Co-founder of Eventbrite), and Ben Lang (Head of Community at Cursor).
