Global Mofy AI Launches U.S. Subsidiary to Boost AI Services
Global Mofy AI Limited has announced the launch of a new U.S.-based subsidiary called Eaglepoint AI Inc. This move is part of its plan to expand its global AI infrastructure. The company aims to strengthen its capabilities in virtual content creation and development of 3D digital assets for the digital content industry.
The company holds a 51% stake in Eaglepoint AI through its U.S. subsidiary, GMM Discovery LLC. This new entity is based in Delaware and is the result of a collaboration with top engineering and data experts from the United States, Germany, and Ethiopia. These professionals have backgrounds at leading tech companies like Google, Amazon, and OpenAI.
Building a Strong AI Support Ecosystem
Eaglepoint AI is focused on providing high-quality data labeling, data governance, and AI model training support. Its goal is to offer a reliable and scalable foundation for machine learning teams and developers working with large language models. To achieve this, the team has created a proprietary training and evaluation tool called Aquila.
Aquila helps manage the entire AI lifecycle, from prompt engineering to testing and evaluation. It automates many processes such as running multiple tests and comparing different models. Currently, it supports popular models like Claude, GPT, Google Gemini, and ByteDance Seed 1.6, making cross-model training more efficient and consistent.
Leveraging Regional Talent and Strategic Locations
This expansion emphasizes a cross-regional operating model. U.S. standards around data security, governance, and compliance guide the projects, while dedicated teams in East Africa handle engineering and data production. Ethiopia is seen as a key talent hub, supported by initiatives like the Ethiopian Artificial Intelligence Institute and Digital Ethiopia 2025.
By tapping into Ethiopia’s growing tech scene, Eaglepoint AI benefits from a strong pipeline of skilled engineers and data professionals. The move aligns with projections that AI could contribute nearly $3 trillion to Africa’s economy by 2030, helping Global Mofy build a sustainable and cost-effective data supply chain for the global AI market.
Global Mofy’s Chairman and CEO, Haogang Yang, highlighted that Eaglepoint AI is a major upgrade for the company’s infrastructure. He noted that competition in enterprise AI is shifting from raw computing power to the quality and governance of data systems. Combining U.S. standards with East African engineering expertise positions the company well for future growth in AI services.
