Viven Launches with $35M for AI Enterprise Twins
Viven has officially launched its operations with $35 million in seed funding to introduce a new kind of intelligent system to the business world: AI-powered Digital Twins. This is a new class of technology that creates personalized digital counterparts for employees. The system captures their knowledge, decisions, and context to help teams work faster and preserve institutional memory.
The funding round was led by Khosla Ventures, with significant contributions from Foundation Capital, FPV Ventures, and Operator Collective. A group of prominent angel investors also participated. Viven aims to help organizations adapt to rapid changes in the workforce and the growing adoption of artificial intelligence.
A New Way to Manage Knowledge
In today’s business environment, many leaders face a common challenge. While some companies are advancing quickly with AI, others struggle with information trapped in separate departments and knowledge that disappears when employees leave. This can slow down decision making and create a competitive disadvantage.
Viven is already working with global companies, including Genpact, the Josh Bersin Company, Red Crackle, and Eightfold. Genpact, a technology solutions firm, deployed Viven’s Digital Twins across its global leadership in just eight weeks. The system has helped them improve internal teamwork and maintain consistent decision making.
“Speed and agility are fundamental elements of our culture, making us natural partners for innovations like Viven’s Digital Twins, which gives our leadership team the organizational velocity to collaborate with clarity, speed, and confidence,” said Balkrishan “BK” Kalra, President and CEO of Genpact.
Building a More Connected Workplace
The new capital will support the continued development of Viven’s Digital Twin platform and the expansion of its team. The company’s goal is to make its technology a core part of how modern enterprises function. Viven’s systems go beyond simple avatars or personal assistants. Each twin is trained on an employee’s actual work, including internal documents, emails, and conversations, to replicate how they think and communicate.
This allows the twins to perform useful tasks, such as briefing a user before a meeting, summarizing conversations from different platforms, or answering questions from colleagues when that person is unavailable. Companies can also create twins for entire teams. For instance, a CEO could ask the twin of a global account team for a complete customer update, drawing information instantly from sales, engineering, and product management.
The Team Behind the Technology
Viven is led by co-founders Ashutosh Garg and Varun Kacholia, established entrepreneurs who have previously built two unicorns together. Their experience includes scaling category-defining companies like Eightfold AI, giving them a strong background for this new venture in enterprise AI. The company itself was incubated at Eightfold.ai and is headquartered in Santa Clara, California.
What makes Viven’s approach distinct is its focus on capturing the full context of an employee’s work. By doing so, it creates a searchable, intelligent resource that reflects the thinking and decisions across an entire organization. The platform is also built with security in mind. It can be deployed in a company’s own cloud or on-premises environment and includes robust privacy controls and full audit trails to ensure data is shared appropriately.
“Viven offers a new way to run the enterprise where knowledge doesn’t vanish, collaboration is instant, and leaders operate with clarity at every level,” said Ashutosh Garg, co-founder and CEO of Viven. “Digital Twins give executives immediate access to the thinking, context, and decisions of their entire organization so they can move faster, see across silos, and stay ahead of the curve.”
Investor Confidence in a Bold Vision
The investors see a clear need for a solution that addresses the loss of time and institutional knowledge inside large organizations. They are backing Garg and Kacholia’s experience in building successful enterprise-focused companies.
“Time is the scarcest resource in any company,” said Vinod Khosla, founder of Khosla Ventures. “By creating a digital twin for every employee, Viven gives organizations the ability to move faster, accelerate decision making, and preserve institutional knowledge. Ashutosh and team have the expertise and track record to build out this bold vision.”
