AI Digital Twins Transforming How Businesses Share Knowledge
A new wave of technology is changing workplace dynamics with the arrival of AI-powered Digital Twins. Viven, a tech startup, has recently launched this innovative system after securing $35 million in seed funding. These Digital Twins create personalized digital versions of employees, capturing their knowledge, decisions, and communication styles. The goal is to help teams work more efficiently and keep important organizational knowledge alive even as staff change roles or leave.
Reimagining Knowledge Management in Fast-Paced Business Environments
Many business leaders struggle to keep up with rapid changes in their organizations and the rise of artificial intelligence. Critical information often gets siloed in different departments, making it hard to access quickly. When employees leave, their unique knowledge can disappear, leading to delays and mistakes in decision-making. Viven’s Digital Twins aim to solve this by creating a digital mirror of each employee’s expertise and work style.
Already working with global companies like Genpact, Eightfold, and Red Crackle, Viven has shown its technology can be implemented fast. For example, Genpact deployed Digital Twins across its leadership team in just eight weeks. The result was improved teamwork and more consistent decision-making. According to Balkrishan “BK” Kalra, Genpact’s President and CEO, the system has helped his team collaborate more clearly and confidently, boosting organizational agility.
Building a More Connected and Efficient Workplace
The new funding will support Viven’s ongoing development and help expand its team. The company’s vision is to make Digital Twins a core part of how modern businesses operate. These systems go beyond simple virtual assistants. Each twin is trained on an employee’s actual work, including internal documents, emails, and conversations, so it can mimic their thinking and communication style.
This allows the Digital Twins to perform practical tasks, such as preparing a briefing before meetings, summarizing conversations from various platforms, or answering colleagues’ questions when the employee is unavailable. Businesses can also create Twins for entire teams. For example, a CEO could ask for a complete customer update from a global account team, pulling together information from sales, engineering, and product management instantly.
Viven’s approach aims to make workplace knowledge more accessible and dynamic. This technology could revolutionize how companies share information, reduce repetitive work, and ensure that valuable expertise remains within the organization even when employees move on.
The Team Behind the Innovation
Viven was founded by Ashutosh Garg and Varun Kacholia, both experienced entrepreneurs who previously built two unicorn companies together. Their background includes scaling well-known AI companies like Eightfold AI, giving them strong expertise in enterprise AI solutions. The company was incubated in the Khosla Ventures accelerator and received backing from Foundation Capital, FPV Ventures, and Operator Collective. Several prominent angel investors also participated in the funding round.
This team’s experience and backing position Viven to lead a shift in workplace knowledge management. Their Digital Twin platform is designed to help organizations become more connected, agile, and smarter in how they leverage their internal expertise. As the technology continues to evolve, it has the potential to reshape the way companies operate and collaborate in the digital age.
Overall, Viven’s Digital Twins represent a significant step toward more intelligent, connected workplaces where knowledge is preserved, shared, and utilized more effectively than ever before.
