AgiBot Takes Center Stage at IROS 2025

The 2025 IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS 2025) was held from October 19 to 25 in Hangzhou, China. The First AgiBot World Challenge

The AgiBot World Challenge was the conference’s biggest event. Co-hosted with OpenDriveLab, the competition drew 431 teams from 23 countries across five continents. It featured two main tracks: Manipulation and World Model. The Manipulation track focused on robots performing practical tasks, while the World Model track tested AI’s ability to predict physical changes in the environment.

Teams competed fiercely, especially in the Manipulation track, where 11 top teams made it to the final stage. Using the AgiBot platform, they demonstrated how robots can handle complex operational tasks. The winning team received a cash prize of $10,000. The World Model track challenged AI systems to better understand and anticipate real-world changes, pushing the boundaries of robotic intelligence.

The event highlighted the growing capabilities of robotic platforms and the global talent working on them. It also proved that AgiBot’s technology is reliable and advanced enough to support competitive robotics research. This competition set a new standard for future challenges and collaborations in the field.
