Apple has a busy year ahead, and the buzz is building as new leaks and rumors start to surface. Just in time for the late-summer hype around new Apple products, hints of major upgrades and fresh devices are making the rounds. The company is also gearing up for its upcoming iPhone event, and the timing seems to be perfect.

Around the same time, Apple reintroduced support for blood oxygen tracking, sparking more speculation about health features. This aligns with comments from CEO Tim Cook in August, when he expressed high excitement about upcoming products. He mentioned that some will arrive soon, while others are still in the pipeline for later.

Apple’s Chip Upgrades and New Devices

The latest leaks suggest Apple is giving many of its products a serious boost with new chips. These upgrades are expected to make devices faster and more powerful. There’s talk of completely new product lines as well, though some of these might not arrive until 2026.

One interesting bit is about iPods and iPads. Apple may launch a new iPad mini with the same high-end A19 Pro chip found in the iPhone 17 Pro. In addition, a more affordable iPad with an A18 chip could arrive in spring. This would be a notable upgrade from the current entry-level model, which uses an A16 processor.

New Features for Apple’s Key Products

Apple’s mixed reality headset, the Vision Pro, is expected to get the new M5 chip, boosting its performance. For smart home devices, the new HomePod mini might get an updated S-series chip. Apple TV is also rumored to feature an A17 Pro processor, which would give it more muscle for smarter interactions on the big screen.

The company is also working on new Macs, including the first models with the M5 chip and a more affordable MacBook priced around $599. A new Studio Display, code-named J427, could arrive by 2026, with a powerful A19 Pro processor to handle future audio and video tech.

What’s Coming for the iPhone and Wearables

All these rumors are timed perfectly with Apple’s expected launch of the iPhone 17 lineup. The new phones are rumored to have more memory, double the storage options at a small price increase, and an impressive 8x optical zoom for Pro models. Expect new versions named the iPhone 17, 17 Air, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max.

Wearables aren’t left out either. The Apple Watch Ultra could see a third-generation version with a faster chip, bigger display, and 5G—including satellite messaging support. The Series 11 might get a processor upgrade, and the Apple Watch SE could see its first update since 2022.

Apple’s wireless earbuds and tracking tags are also on the upgrade list. AirPods Pro 3 are expected to bring better noise cancellation and new health features like sleep tracking. AirTags might become more accurate and work at longer ranges.

While these leaks give a strong hint about what’s coming, some products are still missing. Apple is likely to introduce new Macs and iPad Pro models, along with the promised “contextually aware” Apple Intelligence, announced last year. That could lead to new health-focused features, smarter health assistants, and even robotics.

Looking further ahead, Apple is rumored to be working on augmented reality glasses with visionOS and its first folding iPhone. It’s clear the company has a lot up its sleeve, and fans have plenty to look forward to in the months ahead.
