Meta, the parent company of Instagram, says the purpose is to build trust with audiences by clearly indicating AI-generated content. The labels are more explicit than previous “AI info” badges, which only suggested that a post “may” have been made with AI. Now, creators can confidently specify when AI was involved, giving followers a better understanding of what they are seeing.
