Keyfactor Names Industry Veteran as President and CRO

Keyfactor, a leader in digital trust for modern businesses, has announced a major new appointment. Michael Volanoski is now serving as the company’s President and Chief Revenue Officer. His role will focus on leading global sales, marketing, and partner efforts as Keyfactor aims for its next phase of growth.

This move comes after what was the company’s strongest year ever. Keyfactor has been riding a wave of rising demand for quantum-safe security, machine identity management, and cryptography solutions. As organizations face rapid advances in AI and new regulations worldwide, Keyfactor is positioning itself to help enterprises build and maintain digital trust at scale.

Company Growth and Strategic Moves

Over the past year, Keyfactor has seen impressive growth. The company nearly doubled its annual recurring revenue in less than two years. This reflects strong market demand and ongoing global momentum for its offerings. The company has also expanded its reach internationally, now employing over 540 people across more than a dozen countries.

In addition, Keyfactor has made strategic acquisitions, including InfoSec Global and CipherInsights. These moves have strengthened its leadership in cryptographic posture management. The acquisitions help enterprises gain better visibility, governance, and control over cryptographic assets, reinforcing Keyfactor’s position in the security landscape.

Leadership Experience and Vision

Michael Volanoski brings over 30 years of leadership in enterprise technology, fintech, and cloud software. Before joining Keyfactor, he was Executive Vice President and CRO at Q2, overseeing sales, marketing, customer success, and partner ecosystems globally. His background includes senior roles at Microsoft, SAP, JPMorgan Chase, and Citigroup, where he managed large teams and drove growth.

Volanoski sees Keyfactor as being at the forefront of critical technology shifts. He emphasizes the company’s role in helping enterprises adapt to quantum-safe security and operationalize trust at scale. His experience with global teams and customer-focused strategies will be key as Keyfactor continues to expand its market presence.

CEO Jordan Rackie highlighted the significance of this appointment, noting that it reflects the company’s aggressive plans to scale further. Rackie explained that the company is capitalizing on increasing market demand and aiming to stay ahead of competitors by strengthening its leadership team. With Volanoski onboard, Keyfactor aims to accelerate its growth and deepen its impact in digital trust solutions.
