Throughout his career, Collette has been a pioneer in multiple sectors of media and technology. He has held leadership roles in broadband media, interactive TV, multiroom DVR, hybrid TV, and advanced advertising. His work has helped shape the future of TV and digital media.

Collette has led three venture-backed companies as CEO, including Ucentric Systems, PhyFlex Networks, and Cognitive Networks. Notably, Cognitive Networks developed Automatic Content Recognition (ACR) technology for Smart TVs. This technology was acquired by Vizio and became the foundation for its Inscape division.

Notable Achievements and Recent Roles

After selling Cognitive Networks, Collette served as General Manager of Vizio’s Inscape Data Service business, where he helped grow revenue steadily. In 2017, he co-founded Dativa, a company focused on data science and engineering for TV data analysis.

Most recently, Collette worked as a contract executive for TV Scientific and served as CEO of Run3TV, a company providing software for ATSC 3.0 broadcast technology. His diverse experience spans both startups and established companies, positioning him well to guide MX8 Labs’s growth.
