Sela and 2bcloud have announced a major merger, creating one of the largest multi-cloud engineering firms in the region. This move comes as demand for cloud-native, data-driven, and AI-powered solutions continues to grow rapidly. The combined company will operate under the Sela brand, employing over 500 cloud engineers and holding top partnership statuses with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.

Building a Leading Multi-Cloud Powerhouse

The merger aims to strengthen their mission of becoming the top cloud services provider for technology companies. As AI adoption accelerates, businesses face increasing complexity, talent shortages, and the need to modernize faster than ever. The new Sela-2bcloud organization is designed to meet these challenges with greater scale, deeper engineering expertise, and expanded delivery capacity.

Ron Sprinzak, CEO of Sela, explained that the current landscape is a “perfect storm” of AI disruption, data complexity, and fierce global competition for skilled talent. By merging with 2bcloud, Sela aims to create a robust cloud engineering force capable of delivering faster, more reliable solutions to its clients. Evan Spaeder, the General Manager of Sela U.S., highlighted the strategic importance of the U.S. market, noting that the combined strengths will support growth at every stage, especially as organizations shift toward AI-driven products and cloud-native transformation.

Complementary Strengths and Strategic Focus

Sela brings over 30 years of experience in cloud engineering, data modernization, and digital transformation. Meanwhile, 2bcloud is known for its agility and rapid delivery, especially among independent software vendors (ISVs), SaaS companies, and digital-native firms. Their combined expertise creates a powerful force ready to tackle complex projects across multiple regions and industries.

Gil Ron, CEO and founder of 2bcloud, emphasized that tech companies are under immense pressure to modernize quickly and adopt AI responsibly. He believes that merging with Sela will accelerate their ability to deliver these solutions at scale. The combined organization will strengthen partnerships with major cloud providers and focus on large-scale migrations, data modernization, cloud-native rearchitecture, and AI and analytics initiatives.

Their focus remains on high-growth tech firms, offering a wide range of services such as managed cloud operations, optimization, modernization, data engineering, AI/ML, architecture design, professional consulting, and training. With teams spread across the U.S., Europe, Israel, and India, the new Sela is positioned to work at a global scale, supporting the innovative companies building tomorrow’s software solutions.
