Humanoid robots stole the spotlight at the recent World Robot Conference 2025, highlighting how fast technology is advancing in this field. EngineAI, a leader in humanoid robotics, revealed their latest innovations and products that are pushing the boundaries of what robots can do. The event was a great opportunity for the company to showcase its commitment to research, open-source development, and industry collaboration.

Cutting-Edge Humanoid Robots on Display

One of the most impressive robots at the conference was the PM01 humanoid. It wowed visitors with its lifelike movements and impressive dexterity. The robot could navigate complex environments comfortably, demonstrating its adaptability. It also showed off realistic sitting and resting motions, making it clear that humanoid robots are getting better at fitting into everyday settings.

During a live demonstration, the PM01 surprised audiences by running at high speeds. Thanks to advanced algorithms, its gait appeared smooth and natural, which is a big step forward in making robots more human-like in their movements. These kinds of features highlight the robot’s potential for use in various real-world applications.

New Developments and Breakthroughs

The conference also marked the debut of the T800, EngineAI’s first heavy-duty, full-sized humanoid robot. Standing at 1.85 meters tall and weighing 85 kilograms, the T800 is designed for demanding environments. It features 41 high-degree-of-freedom joints, which give it a wide range of movement. The robot is powered by a solid-state battery housed in an aluminum alloy exoskeleton, making it durable and reliable for industrial use.

The T800 is equipped with a multi-sensor fusion system that processes real-time environmental data. This allows the robot to make quick decisions and operate efficiently, even in complex settings. Its enhanced endurance and safety features make it suitable for tasks in factories, construction sites, or other challenging environments. The robot’s design emphasizes both power and precision, pushing forward the industrial robot frontier.

Besides these high-profile models, EngineAI introduced other robots to appeal to different markets. The SA02, a lightweight humanoid designed for younger users and hobbyists, was shown with a starting price of around $5,300. They also displayed the JS01 quadrupedal robot, built for tough terrains. With features like bionic joints, shock absorption, LiDAR, and depth cameras, the JS01 can handle slippery, uneven surfaces with ease. Its terrain-sensing algorithms help it maintain stability while moving across challenging landscapes.

Future Competitions and Collaborations

The T800 is set to compete in the upcoming EngineAI Robot Free Combat Tournament called “Mecha King,” scheduled for December 24, 2025. This event will showcase the robot’s capabilities in a competitive environment, further proving its robustness and agility.

EngineAI’s focus on collaboration and innovation continues to drive progress in humanoid robotics. The company is working with global partners to develop new technologies and expand the applications of their robots. With these latest products and advancements, EngineAI is solidifying its position as a leader in the industry and helping build an open ecosystem for robotics development.
