Wonderful Doubles Valuation With $550 Million Enterprise AI Bet

Wonderful has raised $550 million.

The Netherlands-based enterprise AI company closed its Series C funding round at a $5 billion valuation, more than doubling its $2 billion valuation in under six months. Insight Partners led the round, with Salesforce participating alongside existing backers Index Ventures, IVP, Vine Ventures, 9Yards and Bessemer Venture Partners.

The announcement, dated September 2, 2026, gives Wonderful another large capital base less than two years after its founding in early 2025. That is a brisk climb even by enterprise AI standards, where funding rounds now seem to arrive before the previous announcement has finished circulating.

From customer service agent to AI operating system

Wonderful initially gained traction with its customer service AI agent platform. Since raising a $100 million Series A in November 2025, led by Index Ventures, the company has expanded into more than 35 markets and grown to 650 employees worldwide.

The company says its technology has also developed into a full operating system. Its current platform, called Wonderful AI OS, coordinates and connects agents, workflows and AI applications with a company’s data, context and existing integrations.

That positioning moves Wonderful beyond a single customer service tool. The platform works with any AI model and remains compatible with existing technology stacks, allowing companies to connect the system to infrastructure they already use instead of replacing everything for the privilege of adopting another AI product.

Roey Lalazar, Wonderful’s chief technology officer and co-founder, said: “Customers can adopt whichever parts of the platform make the most sense, integrate them with existing systems, choose the best models for each workload, and retain ownership of everything they build.”

The statement describes a modular approach to enterprise deployment. Companies can adopt parts of Wonderful AI OS, integrate those parts with current systems, select models for individual workloads and keep ownership of what they build.

Capital for faster expansion

Wonderful will use the $550 million to develop products faster, expand its FDE teams and meet demand for its products. The company also said the round would accelerate product development, expand its global deployment teams and support growing enterprise demand for Wonderful AI OS.

The funding therefore targets both sides of the company’s expansion: the platform itself and the teams needed to deploy it. Wonderful has already reached more than 35 markets and 650 employees, so the next phase will test whether its operating system can scale without turning every customer rollout into a bespoke project.

Its rapid valuation growth gives the new round a clear headline. Wonderful moved from $2 billion to $5 billion in under six months, after founding in early 2025 and raising its Series A in November 2025.

That timeline also explains why investors are backing a broader platform rather than only the company’s initial customer service offering. Wonderful is presenting AI OS as a layer that connects agents, workflows, applications, company data, context and existing integrations, while leaving customers freedom over models and ownership.

The participation of Salesforce adds another enterprise software name to the round, while the return of Index Ventures, IVP, Vine Ventures, 9Yards and Bessemer Venture Partners signals continued support from Wonderful’s existing backers. Insight Partners led the financing.

Wonderful now has money to accelerate product work, enlarge its FDE teams and respond to enterprise demand. The difficult part begins after the funding announcement, as usual: turning a platform promise into dependable deployments across more than 35 markets.
