Bain’s 19,000-Employee Claude Rollout Reaches Anthropic’s Top Partner Tier

Bain & Company has joined Anthropic’s Claude Partner Network at its Global Premier tier, pairing a firm-wide Claude rollout with a formal partnership on client work. The companies announced the global partnership on August 25, 2026, marking a deal built around deployment rather than a future trial.
Bain has already rolled Claude out across its entire 19,000-person workforce. During the pilot phase, more than 7,000 employees were actively working with Claude within a few weeks of receiving access, and more than two-thirds of those pilot participants took up Claude for Excel.
The scale of the rollout gives the partnership a practical foundation. Bain consultants work with Claude.ai, Claude Cowork, Claude Code, Claude for Excel, and Claude for Microsoft 365 as part of their work across the firm.
A partnership built around client engagements
Under the agreement, Bain and Anthropic will work together on client engagements involving AI strategy, technology modernization, and AI-enabled operations. Bain’s consulting expertise and Anthropic’s Claude technology will be brought together for those areas.
Philippe d’Arabian, Executive Vice President and Global Head of Partnerships at Bain & Company, described the partnership as a way to connect AI technology with business expertise. “Our partnership with Anthropic brings together its frontier AI technology with Bain’s deep strategic and industry expertise to help clients turn the potential of AI into meaningful business results.”
Bain has achieved productivity gains of 30% to 50% across multiple client engagements involving complex legacy codebases. Those results are part of the partnership’s existing deployment, alongside the internal rollout across Bain’s workforce.
Steve Corfield, global head of business development and partnerships at Anthropic, pointed to the speed of Bain’s employee adoption. “More than 7,000 Bain employees were actively using Claude within weeks of the firm-wide deployment.”
What Global Premier means in Anthropic’s network
Anthropic launched the Claude Partner Network on March 12, 2026. The company added a three-tier Services Track on June 3, 2026, with Select, Preferred, and Global Premier levels.
Global Premier is the program’s top tier. Reaching it requires a firm to hold at least 1,000 active certified individuals and at least 100 joint customers deployed in production across three or more regions.
Bain’s place at that level gives the partnership a defined position within Anthropic’s services program. The announcement ties that status to Bain’s use of Claude across its workforce and to the work the companies plan to pursue with clients.
Claude expands across Bain’s work tools
The Bain deployment spans several Claude products rather than a single application. Consultants use Claude.ai, Claude Cowork, Claude Code, Claude for Excel, and Claude for Microsoft 365, covering general work, coding, spreadsheets, and Microsoft 365 tasks.
Claude for Excel drew adoption from more than two-thirds of pilot participants, while Claude Code formed part of the work connected to complex legacy codebases. Across multiple client engagements, Bain recorded productivity gains of 30% to 50%.
Anthropic has also updated its Claude Slack agent to read full conversation context. That change enables organizational deployment of the agent, adding a Slack-based option to the broader workplace use described in the partnership.
The announcement was authored by Aiden Cross and brings together the network’s formal partner structure, Bain’s internal deployment, and planned client engagements. The key numbers are already in place: 19,000 Bain employees have access across the firm, more than 7,000 used Claude during the pilot within weeks, and more than two-thirds of pilot participants adopted Claude for Excel.
