xAI Unveils Grok Voice Agent Builder for Instant No-Code AI Calls

Elon Musk’s xAI just dropped a no-code platform for voice AI. It’s called Grok Voice Agent Builder. The promise: build AI phone agents in under two minutes without coding.

The tool bundles calls, documents, tools, safety rules, voices, phone numbers, and call reviews into a single dashboard. That’s a rare consolidation in a field usually cluttered with separate APIs for speech-to-text, language processing, and text-to-speech.

Pricing is straightforward: 5 cents per minute of audio, with phone calls on xAI numbers costing just 1 cent per minute. The platform targets enterprises, offering SIP support, guardrails, SOC 2, HIPAA eligibility, and GDPR compliance.

xAI’s pitch is simple: “Create a personalized voice agent in under 2 minutes without a single line of code.” They call the setup time “the hook.” It’s an attempt to win over businesses tired of the usual complex voice AI setup.
