Anthropic’s AI Tools Get Smarter and More Mobile Than Ever

Anthropic is shaking up the AI world again. Their AI assistant Claude just got a major upgrade with new features that bring more power and flexibility across devices. From a smart usage dashboard to mobile AI collaboration, Anthropic is redefining how knowledge workers get things done.

Track Your AI Work with Claude Reflect

Claude Reflect is Anthropic’s new built-in dashboard that helps users see exactly how they use AI. Curious about what topics you discuss with Claude? Reflect lays it out clearly. It shows overall usage patterns and the kinds of tasks you tackle with AI.

But Reflect is more than just stats. It asks you questions like, “What’s one thing you want to keep doing yourself, even if Claude could do it faster?” These prompts encourage you to think critically about your AI use. You can even set quiet hours or schedule breaks from AI to manage your workflow better.

Reflect doesn’t measure how much time you save. Instead, it shows the work Claude has laid out for you. Sensitive conversations get summarized at a high level, but any health-related chats are completely excluded. Anthropic assures users that data in Reflect won’t be used for other purposes.

This dashboard is currently in beta for Free, Pro, and Max users who have memory turned on. It’s a clever way to give users more control over their AI experience.

Claude Cowork Expands Beyond Desktop

Claude Cowork just went mobile and web on July 7, 2026. Previously limited to desktop, this tool now syncs sessions across devices seamlessly. Your work travels with you—and keeps going even when your device is offline. Anthropic promises, “Your work goes everywhere with you, and keeps going without you.”

What does Cowork do? It focuses on the “work around the work.” It helps knowledge workers with organizing info, drafting updates, building slide decks, and condensing research. Cowork sessions show that 33.4% of use involves business process and operations. Content creation follows with 16.4%, and software development accounts for 8.7%. Other uses include DevOps (7%), research (6.4%), data analysis (5.8%), document processing (4.1%), sales (4%), and personal assistance (3.8%).

The interface is now unified across desktop and web, sharing a single home screen. Cowork can also run tasks in the background and send decision questions to your phone for quick review. Anthropic stresses, “Nothing ships until you’ve reviewed and approved it.”

To keep users engaged, Anthropic extended doubled Cowork usage limits through August 5. They aim to combine Cowork with their chatbot for a single, streamlined interface. Projects and artifacts will also come together in one place soon.

Powering It All: Claude Sonnet 5 and Claude Tag

Behind Cowork’s new skills lies Claude Sonnet 5, a model launched with improved reasoning, tool use, and task completion. It’s available at an introductory price of $2 per million input tokens through August 31. After that, the price rises to $3. This model is the engine that drives smarter and faster AI assistance.

Anthropic also rolled out Claude Tag, a Slack-native AI agent designed for team collaboration. This interactive, multiplayer bot helps teams communicate and get work done inside Slack. Impressively, 65% of Anthropic’s own product team code is created by their internal Claude Tag agent.

Security and Future Plans

Anthropic recently addressed a security vulnerability in Claude Cowork involving DLL sideloading and root access. The exploit required local code execution, and Anthropic responded promptly to protect users. Security remains a top priority as they expand features and platforms.

The company’s roadmap includes uniting Cowork with their chatbot for a single interface. They plan to bring projects, conversations, and artifacts together, creating a seamless workspace powered by AI.

What’s Next?

Anthropic is pushing AI tools beyond developers to knowledge workers across industries. Their data shows most Cowork sessions focus on business operations and content creation, not just coding. This broad appeal signals a shift in how AI can boost productivity for many roles.

With Reflect helping users understand their AI habits, Cowork syncing work everywhere, and Claude Sonnet 5 powering smarter tasks, Anthropic is building a powerful AI ecosystem. This is AI designed to fit into your daily workflow—on your terms.

The future looks bright and busy for Claude users. Will you take control of your AI work with these new tools? The opportunity to rethink how you work is right here. Get ready to see what AI can really do when it works alongside you.
