The announcement was dated Sept. 17, 2026, at 8:00 am EST, giving professional multi-camera shoots a transmission system built for sports and other demanding productions.
In TX mode, the SDR Transmission II can send 4K 60 fps HDR video at a 50Mbps bitrate to transceivers as far away as 2.5 miles. That combination gives production teams a long-range link without asking them to trade away the image format that matters most in modern video work.
Distance alone does not make a multi-camera system useful. The system supports up to five transmitters and 40 receivers working at once, creating room for complex shoots with multiple camera feeds and viewing points.
Built For Multi-Camera Control
A single transceiver can connect to up to eight others, and each connection supports remote control. That network structure gives operators a way to manage a larger collection of transmission hardware without treating every receiver as an isolated device.
