Most of Google’s manufacturing still takes place in China, so the change will require a major adjustment across its production network. Vietnam and India are the two countries most likely to receive that work, based on Google’s expanding capacity in both locations.
Google has already developed and manufactured its Pixel 11 devices in Vietnam. Building those phones there required the company to invest in testing equipment and tooling machines from scratch, showing the scale of preparation behind its broader manufacturing plan.
Vietnam Could Become The Key Production Hub
Vietnam offers Google an established technology manufacturing base to build on. The company could tap into the smartphone supply chain ecosystem that Samsung had already established in the country, giving Pixel production access to a network created for large-scale smartphone manufacturing.

A Smaller Pixel Base May Make The Move Easier
